The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System is a premium performance lift solution engineered for 2009–2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks. Designed to increase ground clearance, improve suspension geometry, and enhance ride quality, this system features dual-rate coil springs, heavy-duty tubular upper and lower link arms, adjustable track bar components, and 2.5 Series CDCV reservoir shocks. Built for towing, daily driving, and aggressive off-road performance, this system delivers increased wheel travel and dependable stability across all terrain types.
4.5” Lift Height for Improved Ground Clearance
This system provides approximately 4.5” of lift height, improving vehicle stance and ground clearance while allowing installation of up to 35” tires without modification and up to 37” tires with minor trimming. The increased ride height enhances both off-road capability and overall vehicle performance.
2.5 Series Aluminum Shocks with CDCV Adjustment
ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks feature Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) technology that allows drivers to externally adjust compression damping. These shocks utilize impact-extruded aluminum bodies, FK bearings, and 7/8” shafts to provide consistent damping performance and improved durability under demanding conditions.
Dual-Rate Coil Springs for Balanced Ride Comfort
ICON-engineered dual-rate coil springs provide a progressive spring rate that improves ride comfort during daily driving while maintaining strength and stability under heavy loads or towing conditions. This design enhances both on-road handling and off-road performance.
Heavy-Duty Upper and Lower Link Arms
Heavy-duty tubular steel upper and lower link arms improve strength and alignment range while reducing suspension bind compared to factory components. These upgraded links increase articulation and improve suspension performance across rough terrain.
Adjustable Track Bar and Steering Geometry Correction
An adjustable track bar with PTFE-lined bearings centers the front axle and improves steering response after lift installation. Additional components including a forged pitman arm and sway bar drop brackets help maintain proper steering geometry and reduce bump steer.
Polyurethane Bump Stops with Billet Extensions
Polyurethane bump stops with billet extensions improve bottom-out control and increase durability during aggressive suspension travel. These components enhance long-term reliability while protecting suspension components from excessive impact loads.
