The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 Suspension System (K53052T) is a premium performance upgrade engineered for the 2003–2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007–2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Building upon the Stage 1 system, this kit features extended travel 2.5 Series coilovers and heavy-duty tubular upper control arms to significantly increase wheel travel, improve damping performance, and enhance overall ride quality. Designed for both daily driving and aggressive off-road use, this system delivers improved articulation, durability, and control across all terrain conditions. 

Adjustable 0–3.5” Front Lift for Versatile Performance

The ICON 2.5 Series coilovers provide adjustable lift from 0 to 3.5 inches, allowing precise tuning for ride height, tire clearance, and suspension geometry. This flexibility supports larger wheel and tire combinations while maintaining proper drivability and handling. 

2.5 Series Extended Travel Coilovers

This system utilizes extended travel coilovers designed to increase suspension droop and overall wheel travel compared to standard configurations. The added travel improves off-road capability, enhances traction, and delivers a smoother ride over rough terrain. 

Tubular Upper Control Arms with Delta Joint

High-strength tubular upper control arms are included to correct suspension geometry and ensure proper alignment at increased lift heights. Equipped with ICON’s patented Delta Joint, they combine the durability of a ball joint with the articulation of a uniball while remaining sealed for long-term reliability and reduced maintenance. 

2.0 Aluminum Series Rear Shocks for Balanced Ride

The rear suspension is upgraded with ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir shocks, tuned specifically for the 4Runner and FJ platform. This ensures balanced damping performance between front and rear, improving ride comfort, stability, and off-road control. 

Rear Coil Springs for Lift and Load Support

Included rear coil springs provide approximately 2 inches of lift while improving load handling and maintaining proper ride height. This ensures consistent performance whether unloaded or carrying additional gear. 

Engineered for Increased Travel and Reliability

This system is designed to maximize usable suspension travel while maintaining proper geometry and long-term durability. High-quality materials, FK rod end bearings, and fully serviceable shocks ensure dependable performance in demanding environments. 

Bolt-On Installation for Easy Upgrade

The Stage 2 system is designed as a complete bolt-on solution utilizing factory mounting points. No cutting or welding is required, making installation straightforward while delivering a major improvement in suspension performance.
