The First Team Tyrant Fixed Height Basketball Goal is the most rugged, heavy-duty in-ground basketball system offered by First Team. Built around an extra-thick 6 5/8″ Schedule 40 galvanized steel post with a 72″ extension and nose-cone backboard mount, the Tyrant is engineered for maximum durability and stable play in parks, schools, playgrounds, and high-traffic courts. Its direct-mount design minimizes stress on the backboard and supports reliable performance season after season. 

Commercial-Grade Fixed Height Construction

The Tyrant system features a massive galvanized steel post buried 48″ below the playing surface for exceptional rigidity. Its nose-cone mounting system locks the backboard securely in place and simplifies installation.

Extensive Backboard & Goal Options

Available with a wide range of backboard materials — including steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and clear acrylic — the Tyrant lets you match performance and style to your needs. Choose fixed unbreakable or heavy-duty flex goals to complete your setup.
