The Dualtron Sonic Model N is a compact, lightweight electric scooter designed for urban commuters who want dependable performance and smart technology in an ultra-portable package. Developed by Minimotors, the Sonic Model N features a dual-motor system, removable battery design, and innovative riding features that make it ideal for short-distance travel, campus commuting, and everyday transportation. With its lightweight build and intelligent features, the Sonic Model N delivers convenience without sacrificing performance.

Performance / Power

The Sonic Model N is powered by dual 350W brushless hub motors, providing smooth acceleration and efficient performance for city riding. The scooter reaches speeds up to approximately 16 mph and offers a maximum range of up to 19 miles when equipped with the larger Samsung 36V 10.2Ah battery. Riders can also choose a smaller removable battery option for shorter trips, giving the scooter flexible power and range configurations.

Ride Quality / Control

Designed for stability and comfort, the Sonic Model N rides on 8-inch tubeless pneumatic tires that help absorb vibrations and maintain traction on urban streets. A front and rear rubber suspension system further smooths out bumps while a foot-activated mechanical disc brake combined with regenerative electronic braking ensures reliable stopping power. The scooter also includes a unique power-assist mode that automatically accelerates after a short push, reducing the need for constant throttle input.

Built with aviation-grade 6082-T6 aluminum alloy and reinforced SCM440 steel components, the Sonic Model N is designed to be both durable and lightweight.
